Ios is a mountainous island with the beauty of a dry landscape, as are most Cycladic islands. It is situated south of Naxos and Paros and north of Santorini. In the past it has served as the refuge of pirates, but today Ios combines the intense cosmopolitan life with tradition.
The fairy-like beaches, the white houses and the churches with blue domes are only some of the things the visitor can discover on the island of the ancient Phoenixes. The capital of the island is Ios – Chora and it is one of the safest natural harbours of Greece.
The houses in Chora maintain their distinct character and have been characterized as preserved heritage. Chora is built near the bay of Ios and its symbol is the small church of Ag. Irini which can be seen at the entrance of the harbour. Ten minutes away from Chora we fall upon another bay, Mylopotas, which is famous for its sandy beach, considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the Aegean Sea.

Our property is located conveniently only 3 kilometres from the port, close enough to the town but still offering tranquillity. More importantly, it is barely 300 meters from the beach. A supermarket, internet cafe and various restaurants are all under 250 meters away from the property, or just a few minutes' walk.
How to come to the hotel
From the port take the main street to Mylopotas. Before entering in the village of Mylopotas , you will see the hotel at your right.
